In partnership with the NHS, Social Enterprise Kent (SEK) is offering a free 7-day employability and life skills course designed to support care leavers who want to take their first step into one of the over 300 available NHS roles. From Maintenance, Catering to Admin and clinical positions, there’s something for everyone.

Dates to be confirmed, it will likely be end of January into February and will be in Ashford.

  • A chance to identify strengths and interests
  • Guidance on applying for NHS roles via the TRAC system with full support from SEK
  • NHS interview for all participants who complete the course and submit a job application
  • Interview questions in advance so we can practice
  • Lunch provided
  • Travel Paid for in advance
  • A CV pack containing a completed CV and any certificates earned
  • 12 months of follow on mentorship with our trainer for those who successfully secure a role

The course will take place over 3/4 weeks (in person and remote sessions) and offers 12-15 spaces. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to gain valuable skills, with real prospects for employment in the NHS.
