The South East Network for the Education of Care Leavers (SE NECL) comprises Hampshire & the Isle of Wight, Kent & Medway, Surrey, and Sussex.
SE NECL is one of the regional groups which make up the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL). For more information about NNECL, visit: http://nnecl.org/
SE NECL is made up of practitioners from across the south east whose work involves supporting the educational progression of care leavers.
Organisations that are currently members of SE NECL are:
HAMPSHIRE & THE ISLE OF WIGHT – Portsmouth Virtual School, University of Portsmouth, University of Winchester,
KENT & MEDWAY – Canterbury Christ Church University, Care Leaver Progression Partnership, East Kent College Group, Kent & Medway Progression Federation, University of Kent, University for the Creative Arts, Virtual School Kent.
SURREY – Surrey Virtual School, University for the Creative Arts, University of Surrey.
SUSSEX – Brighton, Hove and Sussex 6th Form College, East Sussex Virtual School, Sussex Learning Network, University of Brighton, University of Sussex.
The group aim to meet three times per year in different locations around the region. There is no cost to being a member, it is about practitioners getting together to share best practice and discuss ways of addressing challenges.
