The latest National Statistics publication from the Department for Education shows the number of looked after children continuing to rise, continuing the trend year on year.

The November 2018 publication shows that At 31 March 2018, there were 75,420 looked after children in England, up 4% on 31 March 2017. At the same time, adoptions from care continue to fall.
