Every Monday and Friday in August we’ll be promoting KMPF‘s ‘Back on Track‘ Transition Programme, which is funded through the Office for Students Uni Connect Programme. Today we’ll be looking at the University of Kent’s Mind the Gap module.
In this online session from the University of Kent students will have the opportunity to assess their progress and identify skills gaps following a period of time away from school.
Participating students will be encouraged to investigate the challenges, opportunities and personal attributes necessary to motivate self-directed study and will be introduced to a range of strategies to support the development of independent study skills.
This session is suitable for students in Years 9-11. Students will require access to the internet.
