The Care Leaver Covenant, a Department for Education initiative, was launched today by Nadhim Zahawi, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families.

The Covenant has been established to improve support to young people aged 16-25 leaving care into independent living. The initiative encourages education providers, businesses, and charities to pledge their commitment to supporting care leavers by signing up to the Covenant.
