Care Day on 16 February is a joint initiative between children’s charities across the UK. It is an opportunity to reflect on the rights of each child, and how we all work to support that.

This annual event is being led by the charity Become, alongside Who Cares? Scotland, VOYPIC in Northern Ireland, EIPC in Ireland, and Voices from Care in Wales.

It is a time to celebrate the achievements of all children and young people in care as well as raising awareness of some of the issues they often encounter. That’s why throughout Care Day we will be hearing directly from young people on social media about their experiences of care.
